Printer Issues to human being

Printer Issues to human being

Some of the issues are:

  1. Ozone Gas
  2. Noise
  3. Ultra violet
  4. Toner
  5. Heat

Ozone Gas

Ozone Gas is a kind of unstable oxygen that can produced when we operate electronics with a high voltage.Ozone Gas is a reactive gas and extremely poisonous.
Cause: If you inhale it in a long period of time it will cause damage to your lungs.
Solution: Choose a printer that produces low level of ozone gas and completed by carbon filter that is attached on the exhaust of the machine.

Noise

The loud noise of printer can effect the human nerve, that can cause pain and we’ll  feel exhausted. The maximum limit of noise at work is more or less 8 hours with 80dB.
Cause:  effects the human nerve, that can cause pain
Solution: Place the machine in a place that will minimize the noise or you can also choose a printer that is completed with noise absorbent.

Ultra Violet

The light that is used to print can cause pressure to the eyes if on going repeatedly
Cause:
  1.             pressure to the eyes if on going repeatedly
  2.             irritation to the eyes and headaches
Solution: Don’t open the cover of the printer

Toner

Toner is the ink used by laser printer. Toner contains a compound called carbon black. Carbon black is carcinogenic to human
Cause: irritate your respiratory system causing you to sneeze and cough
Solution:We can prevent this from happening by keeping the toner inside the cartridge at all times
 Heat

If the ventilation and distribution of heat is not precise, it can increase the room temperature
Cause: combustion if the paper gets stuck
Solution: You need to make sure the ventilation is proper and the heat can escape from the room

Ergonomic seating position

Ergonomic Seating Position

Working with the body in a neutral position reduces stress and strain on the muscles, tendons, and skeletal system and reduces your risk of developing a musculoskeletal disorder (MSD).

Here are some seating positions that helps you to work with comfort and with safety:

  1. Hands, wrists, and forearms are straight, in-line and roughly parallel to the floor.
  2. Head is level, or bent slightly forward, forward facing, and balanced. Generally it is in-line with the torso.
  3. Shoulders are relaxed and upper arms hang normally at the side of the body.
  4. Elbows stay in close to the body and are bent between 90 and 120 degrees.
  5. Feet are fully supported by the floor or a footrest may be used if the desk height is not adjustable.
  6. Back is fully supported with appropriate lumbar support when sitting vertical or leaning back slightly.
  7. Thighs and hips are supported by a well-padded seat and generally parallel to the floor.
  8. Knees are about the same height as the hips with the feet slightly forward.
  9. The screen of the computer should be positioned straight ahead and close enough( around 25 cm).
  10. The screen must be at your eye level or a little bit lower than your eye level, cause it can cause neck injuries.
Glasses and bifocals

If you wear bifocals, the monitor will need to be even lower. Depending on vision levels, and the amount and type of computer work being done, people have found that a second pair of glasses for computer-use only works better.

  • LCD or Liquid Crystal Display monitors

Liquid crystal display technology works by blocking light. Specifically, an LCD is made of two pieces of polarized glass  that contain a liquid crystal material between them.

  • LED or Light Emitting Diodes monitor

There are three types of monitor, each one of them is different with each other. Here are the types of monitors:

LED monitors looks alike as the LCD monitors but they are better at many ways.

LED monitors are said to use much lesser power than CRT and LCD. Thus, they are also considered environmental friendly. Other core advantages of LED monitors are:
